Circular Economy

Larworks’ business activities are the Processing, Production, and Trading of secondary non-ferrous metals.

Larworks primary environmental policy objective is to minimize the effects of its activities on the environment and constantly aims to:

• reduct the waste it produces
• promote recycling practices
• reduct the consumption of energy and natural resources
• reduct its harmful emissions with the aim of limiting the corresponding effects and adaptation to climate change
• respect the biodiversity and the ecosystem of the area with the cooperation of local Agencies and Associations
• use equipment and means of new environmentally friendly technology (where applicable)
• cooperate with suppliers that take into account the protection of the environment (where technically applicable)

To achieve the above objectives, Larworks:

• has adopted an Environmental Management System, which meets the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001:2015 and it applies to all company environmental parameters. The Environmental Management System is monitored, maintained and improved via inspection, evaluation, and review programs
• provides adequate resources for environmental management: know-how, appropriate equipment, and trained and competent staff
• establishes Environmental Goals and Objectives, the implementation of which is reviewed and evaluated during Management Reviews. In addition, regular measurements are made and then evaluated via a vital process, in order to eliminate or reduce the negative environmental impact of the company

Larworks’ Management and all its employees are committed to the continuous improvement of the environmental performance of the company and the Environmental Management System as well as its compliance with the applicable Environmental Legislation.
